**Summary**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join a AIF in Luxembourg. As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and timely accounting services for Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and Funds. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong accounting background and in-depth knowledge of the fund industry to take their career to the next level.
**Responsibilities**:
- Accounting Operations: Perform day-to-day accounting activities for Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) within the fund structure. This includes recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate general ledgers, and ensuring adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
- Developing balance sheets, profit-and-loss accounts and annual reports
- Knowledge and experience of VAT and tax
- Executing and maintaining financial administration for multiple international clients
- Working closely with finance and legal colleagues as well as with external parties such as accountants, law firms and tax advisors
- Analyzing financial and fiscal data to create both internal and external financial reports and statements
