As a member of our development team, you will be responsible for developing and designing the back end of our web-based systems.
**Tasks**:
- Optimise existing code with engineering best practices
- Elaborate on advanced full text search, we use Elasticsearch
- Implementing and consuming cross platform Web Services like JSON/REST
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies, operating systems, automated testing tools, etc. in order to maintain an awareness of technological advancesA strong team of tech experts within a constantly growing international company that employs 200+ people
- Maintain site updates, fixing and troubleshooting front-end bugs, and improving performance
- Perform system and integration testing with sample and live data
- Provide documentation as required and participate in code reviews, planning sessions and routine status stand-ups

**Required skills and competence**:

- Strong, disciplined skills in PHP
- Experience using MVC Application Development Frameworks
**Will be a plus**:
- Experience with source code control systems (git)
- Intermediate to advanced understanding of Linux
- Solid understanding of OOP
- Understand scalability and load-balancing issues
- Experience writing Unit Tests
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: €3,000.00 - €6,000.00 per month
