As Direct Tax Compliance Manager at Intertrust you are responsible for the first level support on all direct tax matters related to client companies. You will intervene on a wide variety of tax matters including corporate tax aspects of local and international transactions, real estate transactions, holding and financing activities. **Some of the things you’ll be doing
- Prepare and review direct tax returns and calculate tax provisions for Luxembourg entities
- Be the contact person for external tax advisors and local Tax Authorities
- You are experienced and aware about international tax issues (DAC 6, BEPS, ATAD)
- Manage projects and assist in preparing proposals
- Encourage, coach, and manage other (junior) members of the Tax Department on tax matters and their daily tasks Provide internal tax trainings for other business units
**What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- Wants to succeed, grow, be challenged and challenge others
- Has a commercial spirit and pro-active attitude
- Has strong communication and leadership skills
- Has studied Finance / Economics / Tax Law or equivalent
- Has at least 5 years of relevant work experience in tax in a Luxembourg fiduciary, tax services provider or financial institution
- Is fluent in English, written and spoken. Any additional language (German or French) is considered an advantage
