Job Description

**As a Full-Stack Developer at the European Commission, you will be responsible of**:

- Development of front-end website architecture & design of user interactions on web pages;
- Creation of servers and databases for functionality.
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
- Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
- Carrying out deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and management tasks within this implemented cloud structure.
- Creating and documenting IaC working procedures and processes.

**About You**:

- Bachelor’s degree in the IT field.
- Fluent in French and English.
- at least 4 years of specific expertise with fundamental front-end languages such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS, and with JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Angular and Bootstrap
- at least 2 years of specific expertise with back-end languages and frameworks such as Java, PHP, Spring boot and Hibernate, and with cloud services operation, preferably AWS
- at least 1 year of specific expertise with web-scraping and the StormCrawler framework and with eUI framework for front end framework
- Good knowledge of architecture best practices and patterns.
- Strong understanding of security, risk and compliance frameworks, disaster recovery, high availability architectures, hardware, operating systems and networking connectivity.
- Familiarity with data management in PostgresSQL and ElasticSearch
- Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git or Gitlab.
