Compliance Specialist

You will be based in our European HQ in Luxembourg to support the Global Lead for Third Party and Vendor Risk Management in setting up our outsourcing oversight framework and assisting in implementing the framework for Convera Europe Financial SA (“CEF”) ensuring a strong level of oversight and due diligence is in place across all critical outsourcing arrangements, both external and internal.
- Previous experience in providing a support role in a financial services organization. This can be a role focused on operations, finance / accounts, compliance, or even sales support.
- An interest in Outsourcing compliance.
- Previous payment/banking experience would be an advantage, but is not necessary.
- Good organization and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a changing environment with multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently in a structured and analytical way and willing to assume responsibility.
- Fluency in English (oral and in writing) = essential
**You will be responsible for**:
- Maintaining reports and dashboards for management on service levels and outsourcing risk assessments and adherence to oversight plan.
- Regularly review the outsourcing framework.
- Managing the internal monitoring and oversight process, including collating data, challenging service recipients, identifying improvements, tracking actions to completion and reporting to the relevant governance forums.
- Working closely with business owners, providing advice and technical support on oversight activities, including the completion of outsourcing risk assessments and due diligence questionnaires.
- Notifications to competent authorities where required as well as interacting with relevant regulators on all matters related to outsourcing oversight.
- Identifying potential operational risks connected to outsourced services
