Amazon’s Network Management team plays a central role in our global business. They keep our complex, dynamic international supply chains working seamlessly and efficiently to ensure the very best customer experience. As a Senior Network Manager in the Tactical Network Planning team, you will be responsible for leading large network transformations that drive cost, speed, attainment, and sustainability benefits across the end-to-end transportation network. You will work cross-functionally, collaborating with leaders from first, middle, and last-mile to inform decisions in topology and timing design. You will sit at the intersection of business and tech, serving as the primary user of Amazon's latest network design technology and informing future tech enhancements. By optimizing our network design you will make Amazon's customer experience even better and our business more energy and cost efficient.

Key job responsibilities
- Define tenets and lead identification, analysis, and timing design of end-to-end network.
- Gather and prioritize business requirements to inform design accuracy, UX/UI, and interoperability of network design tools.
- Lead planning and organization of complex, high-visibility network design projects.
- Dive deep with tech teams to understand the root cause of problems and collaboratively define improvements.

A day in the life
Being a Senior Network Manager for Amazon involves a great deal of hypothesis testing and data-driven decision making. You’ll work with a number of teams to navigate challenges, thinking both short-term and long-term to create a robust and resilient supply chain network. As a Senior Network Manager, you’ll be required to Think Big and drive innovative solutions to Amazon's most pressing network design needs. This will require you to engage collaboratively with several different teams from ATS, GTS, and AMZL as you identify potential network optimzations, test and validate their business case, and lead design. No two days will be the same, and having so much variety in your role means you will learn something new every day.
