**Job description**:
HIST_PROP is a four-year project funded by the Luxembourg Chamber of Employees to support the extraction and analysis of land and property ownership data in Luxembourg for the 1824 to 1938 period. These historical archives, digitised and made available by the Luxembourg Land Registry, have already been analysed for the city of Dudelange and for Luxembourg City.

**Your role**:

- To support the extraction of the Land Registry archives ;
- To undertake analyses on historical land and property ownership inequalities ;
- To cross property ownership information with other sources, such as genealogical records, to assess the intergenerational transmission of inequalities ;

**Your profile**:

- PhD in history or social sciences (economics, geography, sociology, etc.) ;
- Experience of working with historical and archival sources ;
- Experience of working with land and property ownership data ;
- Understanding of inequality dynamics linked to land and housing ;
- Fluency in English and ability to understand written French ;
- Track record of academic publications.
