**Job summary**:
Role is accountable for good governance across the entity and line of business, setting and implementing the strategic vision for the business and managing the balance sheet and profitability targets for Wealth Management in JPMSE Luxembourg Branch

**Job responsibilities**:

- Platform Head of Wealth Management (WM) acting as the Authorised Manager of the entity in accordance with local regulations and corporate governance.
- Accountable for good governance across the entity and line of business, WM's liaison with the Board of Directors, Regulators, and the Local Community.
- For the entity: Member of the local Management Committee the most senior committee within the entity overseeing all LOBs.
- Act as WM's primary interface with regulators.
- Ensure the implementation and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Ensure that WM acts as a responsible member of the local community by supporting diversity, philanthropic and community outreach.
- Demonstrate the Key Leadership Principles for a strong culture reinforcing the JPM Business Principals
- Foster a positive environment and culture and play a visible role in community and support the local people, diversity, philanthropy & wellness agendas as required

**Business Leadership**:

- In conjunction with the CEO and Region Heads implement the strategic vision for the business supported by a 3-5 year roadmap.
- Manage the balance sheet and profitability targets for Wealth Management in JPMSE.
- Define and manage the regulatory agenda for WM in JPM SE Luxembourg branch.
- Oversee the Lending policies and exception handling of loans in the Luxembourg branch.

**Functional management**:

- Run regular end to end governance for the business. Provide local oversight to first and second lines of defense to ensure compliance with and execution of the control and regulatory agenda.
- Represent WM at regional governance forums in partnership with control partners and provide an escalation route and provide guidance and decision making across the business on risks and issues.
- Promptly and effectively implement corrective measures to address any weaknesses identified through the internal control functions.
- With the assistance of the business manager, ensure that WM has necessary management information, technical infrastructure, and human resources to support decision-making and control mechanisms to ensure sound and prudent operation of the business.

**JPMSE Entity Responsibilities**:

- Act as Wealth Management Authorized Manager for the entity.
- Provide thought leadership in the building of JPMSE's external communication, staffing requirements and control framework.
- Maintain a positive relationship with regulators and industry associations.

**Reporting Relationship**

This position reports to Region Head of Benelux

**Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills**
- Possess the necessary professional competencies (expertise, understanding and experience), professional standing and personal qualities to manage the legal entity and effectively determine the business direction.
- Proven track record of managing a complex business across multiple geographic sites.
- Proven experience in chairing governance forums at line of business level.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the WM businesses and client segments.
- Strong network of contacts within J.P. Morgan.
- Experience in managing and influencing partners to deliver the desired results for the business.
- Strong organisational, project sponsor and planning skills.

Proven understanding of the commercial and risk aspects of the business
