Company profile:
Our client is a reputable Real Estate Investment firm, that due to the evolution of the role, they are in need of Senior Fund Accountants, professional with 2-3 years experience in Fund Accounting for Real Estate funds and SPVs.
In this role as a Senior Fund Accountant you will be exposed to:
- Preparing balance sheets, profit and loss accounts and any other required accounting statements or financial reports.
- Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.
- Preparing key Balance Sheet reconciliations and reviewing those done by others.
- Maintaining, recording, and reconciling billings and accounts receivables and any other bookings based on the relevant supporting documentation.
- Examining financial statements and documents for conformance with accounting requirements and principles.
- Creating month-end accounting entries. Reconciling discrepancies; posting to GL.
- Answering questions regarding various accounting issues and reports, including profit and loss reports.
- Researching open accounting issues and liaise with the relevant parties to solve them
**Key requirements**:
- ACCA qualification is a plus
- 2-3 year of experience in accounting, or finance in Luxembourg;
- Fluent in English;
- Experience in Real Estate, or any alternative funds exposure is a plus;
- Consolidation experience is a must;
- Yardi experience is a plus.
