Our partner is a small accounting firm of 6 collaborators located in Luxembourg City, and offering a very pleasant atmosphere. As part of its development, the fiduciary is currently looking for an experienced Accountant.
The fiduciary offers accounting and tax services to a wide variety of clients, ranging from local SMEs to large international companies as well as SOPARFI. It is for this last client base that the fiduciary is looking for someone who wants to work in a very autonomous way with lots of freedom and trust offered by the Partner. The partner values being able to share her knowledge, as she has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, with her employees which is why they have the opportunity to develop great technical skills.
She also offers many training opportunities such as the Cycle A, Cycle B or even the possibility to become a Chartered Accountant (OEC). This is an investment that she is happy to take on financially, so you can have the chance to feel fully satisfied professionally.
Finally, as part of an international network, the fiduciary is required to respect high standards of quality. That is why you are sure to join a structure where deadlines are respected, files are handled like they should be and the client base is also stable.
Your Responsibilities | Accountant - Accountancy - Fiduciary
You handle the daily bookkeeping of your portfolio from A to Z which includes the encoding of accounting entries, the preparation of tax and VAT returns, both periodical and annual, and the establishment of annual accounts.
You are in direct contact with your clients and are a key point of contact in case they have questions.
You handle the communications with third parties such as auditors, banks and tax administrations.
Depending on your level of seniority, you will be able to review the work of a junior accountant as well as a few trainees. Although this is not a must, it can allow you to acquire your first skills in terms of supervision while also remaining operational on your portfolio.
Profile and Career Path | Accountant - Accountancy - Fiduciary
You have acquired 3 years of experience or more as an accountant in a fiduciary or PFS in Luxembourg, experience during which you have learned to handle a portfolio of SOPARFI autonomously.
Fluency in English is required as this is the main language spoken with your clients. Knowledge of French will facilitate your integration in the team.
You obtained a BTS (BAC+2) or Bachelor degree in Accounting and are motivated to continue to learn. You will have the chance to follow your Cycle A, Cycle B or OEC if you so wish.
You demonstrate professionalism at all times to the clients and you would describe yourself as someone who likes to take initiatives and who finds it important to offer a high quality service.

The opportunity to work under a Partner with more than 20 years of experience in the accounting field and who will happily share her skills with you.
Good location with an easy access by public transport, as this fiduciary is located in the city. It is located only 10 minutes away by bus from the Luxembourg train station.
Up to €50.000 gross per year will be offered for this role as well as meal vouchers of €10.80 per day and an annual bonus to complete this salary package.
