Overview of Role

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and develop the Company’s and Division’s risk management framework, including risk governance and reporting, policies, methodologies and tools, risk and control assessments, definition of risk appetite and determination and monitoring of adequate risk indicators
- Identify higher risk areas and undertake independent thematic reviews on the local processes and procedures
- Review of the first line of defense control environment in close co-operation with senior stakeholders in the Front Office, Investments, Compliance and other support functions (Finance, IT, Operations)
- Develop and perform second line of defense controls
- Work in partnership with other second line assurance functions, both within the Division and the wider Rothschild & Co Group
- Provide support to Luxembourg CCO as required
- Promote risk awareness and adequate risk culture through training and dedicated sessions and by providing guidance on risk mitigation and controls to managers

Education and Qualifications
- Strong educational background (University degree in Business Management/Law, Finance or equivalent)
- Fully computer literate (MS Office, especially in Excel and Power Point)

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
- First experience in the financial service industry (e.g. in the area of risk management, compliance or internal / external audit (up to 3 years post-graduation))
- Good knowledge of key Luxembourg and EU rules and regulations
- Understanding of the Wealth Management environment
- Well-developed analytical skills to rapidly understand business situations and challenges
- Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the Group
- Patience and flexibility, alongside being prepared to take on more basic tasks as required
- Independent work style, self-starter and a reliable personality
- Proficient in English and French (written and spoken)
