**Our client launched a strategic project to migrate data and IT infrastructure from their private cloud to Microsoft Azure.**:
**The client is planning, therefore, a transition of their existing managed service provider to a new Cloud Management provider which will be contracted.**:
**The Cloud Management Provider will be responsible for the management of all Microsoft public cloud services, including Microsoft 365 which has recently been implemented by the client. We are looking for a **Public Cloud consultant** to support the client in **preparing and supporting the execution of the procurement procedure as well as the onboarding of the future Managed Service Provider. In parallel the Consultant will support the client in planning and executing all necessary technical, governance and other preparatory activities relevant for a public cloud migration**:
**Technical skills**:

- Work experience between six (6) and eight (8) years
- Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, supported by relevant accreditations
- Proven knowledge of Cloud architecture including Cloud security
- Proven experience of migrating services to Microsoft Azure
- Solid understanding of Cloud operations, ability to define service specifications, SLAs, KPIs
- Knowledge of IT Service Management including in a hybrid cloud environment. Familiarity with ITIL process, concepts etc.
- Experience working with cloud service providers, ideally experience of defining technical specifications for procurement procedures etc.
- Business analysis skills, ability to understand business needs/requirements and translate them into technical services and solutions
- Experience managing projects, proven delivery results including managing external service providers

Soft skills:

- Proactive, self-starter, able to drive topics forward
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
- Ability to create PowerPoint presentation and present technical concepts clearly and concisely
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical resources and senior management
- Team player with good collaboration skills, willing to share knowledge and experience freely
- Attention to detail, ability to work in a structured fashion, ensuring appropriate documentation is produced
