CHC Helicopters are looking for a Safety & Quality Analyst to come join the team in Aberdeen
The primary role of the Safety & Quality Analyst is to deliver safety system coordination and metrics, assisting the European safety and quality team in providing SMS support to operations. This role will report into the Safety & Quality Manager UK.
The key responsibilities of a Safety & Quality Analyst are:
- Support Safety & Quality (S&Q) management for delivery of operational risk functions for DSRM, safety reporting and metric development
- Support the S&Q team with administrative activities, oversight and follow-up of ongoing tasks including managing safety reports, action oversight and the storage of meeting minutes, safety information and evidence
- Provide system administrator support and training for S&Q systems
- Contribute to the SMS continuous improvement programme
- Provide reporting statistics and data on the SMS and HESS systems performance
- Oversight and follow-up SMS activities with department heads and staff to ensure safety actions are completed
- Support administrative functions including document control and safety promotion material
- Foster and develop professional relationships and trust through effective engagement of the organisations departments
- Contribute to data, statistics and information in support of commercial tenders and contracts
- Development and coordination of S&Q performance metrics
- Develop high level analysis and reports from safety system surveys
- Coordinate follow up, analysis and reports from company-wide risk reviews
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with management, staff and regulatory authorities
- Keep up to date with current trends and developments associated with the industry including safety and quality legislation
- May include other duties as required
- Experience in an administrative or analyst role working within various databases and administrative systems
- Strong knowledge of MS Office software suite
- Working knowledge of quality tools and databases
- Experience with Safety Management Systems is desirable
- Knowledge of UK & EASA regulations applicable to an SMS/MRO/CAMO/Engineering/Flight Ops is desirable
- Relevant experience in Rotary Wing Offshore / SAR Air Operators environment is Desirable
- Relevant experience in fixed wing charter, Regular Public Transport(RPT) RPT or general aviation environment is desirable
- Be self-motivated and results oriented with a focus on delivery of safety
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment
- Be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to participate and deliver outcomes within a team of aviation professionals
- Display a high level of integrity when dealing with sensitive and confidential material
- Must have the right to live and work in UK
