**The opportunity**
The Application Development Analyst will be a member of Information Technology organization, reporting to an IT team leader. The incumbent works in the Innovation and Prototyping Lab (IPL) as part of the Global Operations & Technology organization in Goodyear. In the lab, the incumbent will work in partnership with the technical and operations teams to develop software which supports the manufacturing hardware and systems.

Working knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as servers, virtual machines, and databases is required. A portion of the incumbent's time is dedicated to the support the daily operations of the IPL. The incumbent must be able to perform basic IT troubleshooting which includes hardware and software support.

We are currently looking for Application Development Analyst - Innovation Lab to join our team in Luxembourg. On this position you will:

- Coordinate, plans and executes software deployments to production, test and development platforms using documented procedures and tests.
- Develop unit tests to support production code using test driven development techniques.
- Work with internal customers in the Innovation and Prototyping Lab (IPL) to understand and respond to needs.
- Educate associates on company resources and how they can add value.
- Troubleshoot basic problems reported by internal customers, systems, or team members; escalating to upper-level associates appropriate.
- Perform repetitive and or well-documented service requests, installations, upgrades, beta testing, backups, restores, patching, granting access, cloning configurations, and gathering KPI data using well-defined processes.

**To join our team you will need**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or equivalent experience.

**Languages**:

- You are fluent in English and French. Knowledge of German is an asset.

**Experience**:

- 1-3 years of relevant technical or business experience is ideal
- Experience in WinDev or Ability to learn WinDev is required
- Experience in Java required
- Desire to learn low code
