Role and Responsibilities:
As a Lead for Data Architecture in DWS you will closely work with the Head of Architecture and Head of Technology Delivery to continue defining and driving the standards around how we architect data, how we leverage data management systems and integrate these as well as defining standard patterns and guiding principles for recurring implementation details, lead a team of data architects to support individual delivery (Business Aligned, Strategic and Regulatory) or provide guidance into the data engineering / delivery teams for any data architecture related questions and concerns.

As a Lead for Data Architecture you will also work closely with the (lead) Solution Architecture team(s) to support defining target delivery within the projects and align data architecture requirements for delivery.

The Funcitonal role title is: Technology Specialist

Experience
- Very good understanding of different data management and integration technologies and concepts, eg Data Lake, traditional RDBMS, NoSQL, Messaging, Streaming
- Proficient in data modelling practices to support data architects and engineering teams to select and design appropriate target data models
- Technology select
- Experienced in defining guiding principles, policies, setting standards and providing guidance for engineers for delivery
- Experience working in and contributing to Agile Projects
- Team leadership experience and capable of motivating people
