**Description of the tasks**:
- Development of front-end website architecture
- Design of user interactions on web pages
- Implement core business logic
- Creation of servers and databases for functionality
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
- Cross-platform optimization
- Design and develop APIs
- Participating in the design and creation of scalable software
- Taking lead on projects, as needed
- Maintenance of code integrity and organization
- Writing clean, functional code on the front-and back-end
- Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
- Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
- Meet both technical and consumer needs
- Write technical documentation.
**Knowledge and skills**:
- Very good understanding of development in legal / administrative contexts, with XML technologies and possibly semantic technologies, for the purpose of data and metadata exchange between institutions
- Ability to implement models as standardised (XML) schemas (e.g. FORMEX, IMMC, AKN4EU) and possibly ontologies
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in XML technologies and possibly semantic technologies. Understanding the most frequently used programming languages and software applied in these technical domains, with the capability to effectively collaborate with others. (XML, DTD, XML Schema, Schematron/Probatron, XPATH/XSLT, XHTML, HTML4, HTML5, UTF8, XSL-FO, PDF/A, PDF/UA, CSS, SGML, Java, Perl, Python, DITA, XML editors, VocBench, Protégé, Virtuoso, JIRA, SVN, GIT, Aris, Visio, M365 collaborative tools)
- Ability to plan work and respect deadlines
- Ability to write clear and structured technical documents
- Ability to participate in business and technical meetings
- Ability to give technical presentations to stakeholders
- Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
**Education**:
- Bachelor degree in IT sector
- Minimum 14 years' experience in IT sector
- English is mandatory
