This is a.Luxembourg based role with an excellent immediate start within a major Europeans Institution working on their largest digital and technological transformation program.

Our client are seeking an experienced FinOps Leader (FinOps manager) to lead and establish the FinOps activities within the organization. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership and financial skills, and a deep understanding of cloud financial management. The FinOps Leader will drive the development and implementation of FinOps strategies, policies, and processes to optimize cloud costs, improve financial visibility, and align cloud spending with business objectives.

Required skills & experience

10+ years of experience in IT architecture, system design, and cloud technologies

Proven experience in a leadership role with a focus on Finance, IT, or cloud computing

Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS being the top priority, Azure, GCP)

Experience with financial management and budgeting

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred qualifications

FinOps certification

Demonstrated experience in cloud financial model and optimization

Requirements

EU citizenship

Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, proficiency in any other European language is a plus
