As a seasoned legal professional, you will play a key role in supporting our clients' financing activities, providing expert legal advice and mitigating risks associated with private banking, financial transactions, and regulatory matters.
You will work closely with our 20-person legal team to collaborate across business units and contribute to fostering a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture.

Job Responsibilities
As Senior Legal Advisor - Private Banking & Finance, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert legal advice on financing matters, including credit agreements, guarantees, and cross-border transactions.
- Assessing and mitigating legal risks to safeguard the interests of the bank and its clients.
- Supporting the development of international financing activities and staying up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations.
Contract Review and Management
Your expertise will also be instrumental in:
- Drafting and reviewing financing contracts, agreements, and guarantees to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining and updating legal templates and forms to reflect changing regulatory landscapes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
You will be an integral part of our team, contributing to:
- Team cohesion and a culture of respect, inclusivity, and support.
- Participating in transversal legal projects and facilitating training for colleagues on banking and financial law.
Regulatory Expertise
To excel in this role, you must possess:
- A deep understanding of legal and regulatory developments impacting financing and private banking activities.
- The ability to provide expert input for strategic initiatives and compliance measures.
Private Banking Focus
In addition, you will offer specialized expertise in:
- Private banking transactions and structures, leveraging prior experience in private banks or law firms servicing such clients.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role possesses:
- At least 5 years of experience in banking law, financial law, or private banking, preferably within a private bank or a law firm advising on private banking.
- Strong expertise in legal risk management, contract negotiation, and Luxembourg regulatory frameworks.
- Fluency in English and French, with a willingness to improve if needed.
- Attributes such as being team-oriented, autonomous, respectful, and supportive of diversity and inclusion values, adaptable, and willing to work collaboratively across teams and geographies.
