Procurement Specialist with Purchasing Expertise

Job Description

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing process from specification to delivery. Your tasks include drawing up specifications, preparing invitations to tender, evaluating bids, negotiating prices, and selecting suppliers.

  • You will create orders for requesting departments and oversee the administrative, commercial, and financial follow-up of orders.
  • You will set up framework contracts for recurring purchases to improve purchasing efficiency and performance.
  • You will ensure that your orders and framework contracts are properly executed, guaranteeing delivery in terms of quality and deadlines.
  • You will monitor the departure and return of temporary exports for repair abroad.
  • You will conduct ad hoc quality checks on items ordered and invoices received, and monitor changes in the prices of goods in stock.

Your profile should include:

  • A secondary school-leaving diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in purchasing is considered an asset.
  • Understanding of and compliance with public procurement regulations and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of office tools, with SAP knowledge being an advantage.
  • You should be proactive, rigorous, precise, and autonomous in carrying out your tasks.
  • Team spirit, motivation, flexibility, and availability are essential qualities.
  • Fluency in French, German, and English, with Luxembourgish knowledge being an asset.

You must possess excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively interact with internal customers and suppliers.
