We are seeking an experienced KYC Officer to join our team on a temporary basis. As a KYC Officer, you will assist the KYC team in identifying, verifying, and managing counterparty files.
Responsibilities- Document Collection and Verification: Collect and verify KYC documents for new and existing clients during onboarding, adhering to our institution's AML/KYC procedures.
- Data Input and Storage: Input client data into our information database and store KYC documents, ensuring compliance with our AML/KYC procedures.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research on clients, counterparties, and beneficial owners through external databases.
- Risk Identification and Treatment: Identify and analyze counterparty risks associated with high-risk jurisdictions or complex structures.
- Collaboration and Reporting: Collaborate with other services to respond to internal inquiries regarding counterparties and contribute to the preparation of internal and external reports.
- Educational Background: A degree in law, business, finance, or economics.
- Professional Experience: 3 years of prior experience in a similar role with a strong AML/KYC background in banking/finance.
- Skills and Qualifications: Understanding of regulatory, anti-money laundering, and compliance topics, as well as experience with compliance screening databases.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English; knowledge of additional EU languages considered an asset.
