Mobile Core Network Architectural Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned expert to lead the design and management of our mobile core network architecture.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of 3GPP architectures, protocols, and functions, as well as hands-on experience with Ericsson MSS, IMS, Subscriber Data Management, and signaling solutions.

  • Design and implement the mobile core network architecture, ensuring compliance with 3GPP and GSMA standards.

  • Develop and propose infrastructure evolution solutions based on technical and business requirements.

  • Leverage knowledge of cloud landscape concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, CaaS, virtualized applications, and containerized applications.

  • Analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions, collaborating closely with other teams and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and design the architecture of the mobile core network, considering 3GPP and GSMA standards.

  • Propose solutions for infrastructure evolution based on technical and business requirements.

  • Lead integration of new components or modification of existing components of the mobile core network.

  • Operational Support: Diagnose issues, coordinate with relevant teams, and resolve problems efficiently.

  • Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

About You:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

  • Significant experience in designing and managing mobile core networks.

  • Excellent understanding of 3GPP architectures, protocols, and functions.

  • Hands-on knowledge of Ericsson MSS, IMS, Subscriber Data Management, and signaling solutions.

  • In-depth knowledge of cloud landscape concepts.

  • Proven analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills for close collaboration with other teams and vendors.

  • Fluency in English; German, French, and Luxembourgish an asset.
