About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Tax Compliance Specialist. This role involves assisting clients with their tax compliance needs, including preparing tax returns, statutory tax provisions, and analysing accounting information.
About You
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting with a focus in taxation, or in law with ideally a focus in accounting or taxation.
- You have a solid understanding of tax accounting under Luxembourg GAAP, IFRS, and/or US GAAP, and a basic knowledge of the Pillar Two rules (OECD and/or EU Directive).
- You are organised, flexible, and able to manage several files at once.
- You possess excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team spirit, and dynamism.
- You speak fluently English and have a working knowledge of French and/or German.
About the Job
- Tax Return Preparation: Prepare tax returns for Luxembourg companies operating in various sectors, including commercial, real estate, private equity, and industrial.
- Statutory Tax Provisions: Prepare statutory tax provisions and consolidated current tax and deferred tax calculations.
- Clients Assistance: Assist clients with the EU Pillar Two directive and Luxembourg legislation implementing Pillar Two.
- Accounting Analysis: Analyse accounting information and clients' annual accounts.
- Tax Correspondence: Work on correspondence received from tax authorities, circulars, tax opinions, and legal research in the tax code or double taxation treaties.
