A leading financial services company in Luxembourg seeks a Senior Fund Compliance Officer to enhance its compliance team.
Key Responsibilities:- Due Diligence Review: Conduct thorough reviews of new client structures during onboarding and address transfer agent inquiries regarding investor due diligence.
- Fund Compliance Management: Oversee daily fund compliance processes to ensure accurate report completion (correcting issues, reviewing discrepancies, preparing and reviewing management reports, etc.).
- Sanctions List Screening: Perform daily screenings of clients, investors, and related parties against sanctions lists and PEP lists, followed by necessary follow-ups and escalations.
- Transaction Monitoring: Review transaction monitoring reports issued by transfer agents.
- Account Verification: Verify account opening documentation and update systems with client details.
- Collaboration and Due Diligence: Collaborate with the first line of defense, attend meetings, and perform due diligence tasks.
- Education: Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance or law.
- Experience: Possess at least 2 years of experience in fund compliance in Luxembourg.
- Knowledge: Demonstrate strong knowledge of the AIFM Directive and CSSF circulars related to compliance.
- Industry Familiarity: Be familiar with the Luxembourg fund industry and regulations related to investment compliance monitoring.
- Organizational Skills: Showcase strong organizational skills to meet deadlines.
- Linguistic Proficiency: Be fluent in French and English.
