Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Crime Specialist to join our team. This role will involve working with autonomy within a small team of experts to provide analysis and guidance on financial crime-related matters.
About the Role
- Provide expert advice on anti-money laundering (AML) and combating the financing of terrorism (CFT) regulations and laws impacting the financial sector.
- Develop and coordinate advocacy initiatives related to AML/CFT, including position papers and industry guidelines.
- Assist ABBL members by providing information and support on AML/CFT matters, as well as preparing industry guidelines within the area of expertise.
- Animate, coordinate, and follow up relevant workstreams at ABBL.
- Organize topical conferences and participate in external events when appropriate.
- Handle contacts with competent authorities to discuss technical issues related to AML/CFT.
- Participate in external working groups at national and European levels.
Your Profile
- Masters degree in law, preferably with specialization in AML/CFT.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Fluent in English and French; knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish is considered an asset.
- Excellent analytical, synthesis, and writing skills.
- Critical thinking.
- Good organizational skills, sense of responsibility, and autonomy in work.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
