We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Manager to join our team at Axis. As a key member of our tax compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of tax compliance requirements across all our investment strategies in the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise the tax compliance team to ensure the successful performance of their functions, including VAT registrations, tax returns, and transfer pricing reporting.
- Coordinate with external administrators and tax service providers to ensure information exchange works correctly and maintain internal records of tax filings and compliance calendar.
- Work closely with the transaction tax team members and keep them informed of all relevant tax compliance and reporting obligations.
- Be the primary contact person for the tax authorities in Luxembourg and abroad, including local tax audits and corresponding to the requests of the tax Authorities.
- Master degree in Tax, Economics or Finance.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a big four company or equivalent or in-house in a tax compliance role.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, French, German or Dutch is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, identify priorities and respect deadlines.
- Capacity to work autonomously and under pressure.
