We are thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to join our esteemed partner, a private bank, as a Sr Banking Compliance Officer. This role is part of our ongoing collaboration and offers the chance to work under the MLRO and CCO.
The Role:
- Stay up-to-date with AML/CFT/Sanctions laws, ensure compliance, review regulatory reports, and advise management on required actions.
- Develop and update AML/CFT policies, ensure alignment with legal and group standards, and conduct related training.
- Oversee client onboarding, conduct risk assessments, and ensure proper KYC for high-risk clients (e.g., PEPs).
- Review transaction alerts, investigate suspicious activities, and prepare Suspicious Activity Reports.
- Create AML/CFT training programs, ensure staff are trained on compliance policies, and promote compliance awareness.
- Collaborate with Internal Audit, review audit findings, ensure compliance, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc compliance reports for management, including quarterly updates and an annual summary.
The Profile:
- 8 to 10 years' experience in Luxembourg banking compliance.
- Immediately available with RTW for Luxembourg.
- CAMS certification is a plus.
- Excellent command of English and French; any other language is an asset.
- Strong attention to details, ability to prioritize.
This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to join a dynamic team and contribute to ensuring the highest standards of compliance within a prestigious private bank.
We estimate the salary range for this position to be approximately €70,000 - €90,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
