One of our clients, a well-established fiduciary services provider, is seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to strengthen its accounting team.
The company supports a diverse portfolio of national and international clients across various industries.
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete accounting cycle for a client portfolio, from bookkeeping to the preparation of annual financial statements in compliance with LUX GAAP or international accounting standards.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage the preparation and submission of VAT and corporate tax returns.
- Supervise, review, and support junior accountants, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Provide tailored advice to clients regarding financial management, tax planning, and regulatory compliance.
- Act as a key point of contact for auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues across a global professional network for cross-border client matters.
Your Profile:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting or fiduciary services.
- Deep knowledge of Luxembourg accounting, tax, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and client satisfaction.
- Fluent in German and English; knowledge of French or Luxembourgish is considered an asset.
- Proficient with accounting software (e.g., BOB) and Microsoft Office Suite.
