Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Senior Applied Scientist to lead the optimization of our outbound network. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operations research, algorithm design, and statistical modeling to improve decision-making capabilities across Operations and Amazon Logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Solve complex capacity optimization problems to redefine resource allocation.
- Develop technical and algorithmic solutions to business challenges.
- Drive strategic product communications across organizations to provide clarity in decisions.
Requirements:
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Background in Operations Research highly desirable or experience in optimization of resource allocation.
- Experience programming in Python or related language.
- Able to communicate complex concepts to business audience.
Estimated Salary: €120,000 - €180,000 per annum
Location: Luxembourg, EU Headquarters
