Job Title: Senior Contract Administration Specialist

A large and complex project is seeking an experienced professional to manage commercial systems and documentation for new managed service contracts from tender to go-live.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in contract management, relevant experience within the construction industry, and a strong background in construction and engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial System Management: Manage commercial systems and documentation for new managed service contracts from tender to go-live.
  • Contract Evaluation and Governance: Undertake all aspects of contract evaluation and governance, including review, validation, and sign-off of annual renewals.
  • Documentation Preparation: Liaise with managers to prepare and implement appropriate contract documentation to support proposals made by sales or commercial services to customers.
  • Contractual Issues Resolution: Manage contractual issues and adverse financial trends escalated by the managed services administration team.
  • Compliance Oversight: Highlight and escalate any identified deviations from agreed commercial policies and guidelines.
  • Document Creation: Draft standard contractual documents, such as non-disclosure agreements, change control documents, master schedules, etc.
  • Negotiation and Communication: Negotiate with third parties and customers on contractual documents to achieve an agreed position that meets commercial, compliance, and business requirements.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Strong background in construction and engineering with at least 10 years' experience in a similar role on major projects.
  • Education: Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant related degree.
  • Specialization: Specialisation and good knowledge of construction law.
  • Skills: Good knowledge of contracts and procurement management.
  • Procurement Knowledge: Full understanding and working knowledge of all aspects of the procurement process.
  • Languages: Excellent English and French language skills, both verbal and written.
