About the Role
As a Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing and implementing strategic programs for Amazon's international supply chain operations, focusing on ocean freight and logistics. Your primary goal will be to drive efficiency and innovation in our supply chain, ensuring we deliver exceptional customer experiences while maintaining a competitive edge in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for ocean freight and logistics operations, aiming to reduce costs, improve delivery times, and enhance supply chain resilience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and logistics, to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and make data-driven decisions to drive improvement.
- Partner with external stakeholders, such as carriers and logistics providers, to negotiate contracts and optimize supply chain costs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, operations teams, and cross-functional teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
- Relevant experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving process improvements and cost reductions.
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
