As a prudential supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of support PSFs that act as subcontractors for operational functions on behalf of financial professionals. They do not themselves carry out any financial activities (management or financing activities). The majority of them offer IT services in the broadest sense, while some provide administrative services (back-office services), financial information reporting to investors, or the storage of digital archives with probative value.
Key Responsibilities:- Processing authorisation requests from support PSFs and addressing questions related to current regulations
- Monitoring and analysing annual accounts, audit reports, management model assessments, and risk assessments of support PFSs
- Drawing up analyses relating to prudential supervision
- Participating in introductory visits and on-site inspection missions where necessary
- Collaborating with other departments on transversal files and issues
- Attending meetings with representatives of support PSFs, external auditors, and service providers
- Contributing to the development of regulatory frameworks and supervisory tools
- Possible involvement in the supervision of CTPPs, with the possibility of joining Joint Examination Teams (JETs)
You will have the opportunity to participate in Joint Examination Teams (JETs) for the supervision of critical third-party IT service providers established by the DORA Regulation on digital operational resilience in the financial sector.
Your Profile:- A university degree in economics, finance, or business management with a specialisation in IT or IT auditing, or in IT or IT auditing with a specialisation in finance
- Professional experience in external auditing, auditing, or internal control of professionals in the sector is a considerable advantage
- Knowledge of and interest in financial sector regulations is a plus
- Interest in new technologies, information security, and Fintechs
- CISA or similar certification is an advantage
- Good writing, analytical, and summarising skills
- Very good written and spoken English; knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; proactivity and flexibility
The successful candidate will be hired as a public employee under a permanent contract and may be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant if they meet the required conditions.
