Forvis Mazars Advisory Services is a leading consulting firm in Luxembourg, offering expert advice to financial institutions. We are currently seeking a Senior Governance Consultant to join our GRIC team.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled professional with expertise in regulatory matters, particularly in the areas of AML/CTF, MiFID, ESG, Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial sector and experience working with clients in various industries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advisory services to financial institutions on operational leading market practices / regulation in Luxembourg. This will include:
- Providing regulatory support on projects and remediations, including gap analysis, benchmark analysis, and application files to national authorities;
- Processing reengineering / restructuring at the level of investment fund managers, depositaries, and PFSs' operations;
- Actively leading day-to-day tasks of assigned projects;
- Creating presentations and flyers concerning European and Luxembourg regulatory matters / operations to support our service offering and eminence;
- Supporting the GRIC team to work collaboratively with clients' management to proactively identify new market opportunities and develop new services for our clients;
- Supporting the GRIC team to assist clients' management during the cycle of our assignments.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity with flexibility for homeworking. We consider agile ways of working that allow for the best impact for our team and clients.
Salary and BenefitsOur estimated salary range for this role is €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer an attractive package of customizable advantages, including profit-sharing, health insurance, and training opportunities.

Your Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Civil Engineering, or from a Business School;
- At least 1+ year of experience within the financial sector;
- Good analytical and logical problem-solving skills;
- Report writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including good written and verbal communications;
- Fluent English language skills; other languages are considered assets.
