The Fund Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of financial operations, including purchases, sales, income, and foreign exchange transactions. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze financial transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of fund-related activities, including cash management and reconciliation.
- Maintain relationships with internal teams and external custodian banks to facilitate smooth operations.
- Analyze and resolve unreconciled transfers, escalating issues as necessary.
- Contribute to process improvements, recommending solutions to optimize task efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- 1+ year of experience in fund operations or a related field, with knowledge of asset management tools (CHORUS, GP3, Soliam, Multifonds) and platforms (Bloomberg, Telekurs).
- Fluent English language skills; proficiency in French is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
