High-Level IP Lawyer Position
The role of an IT/IP lawyer is a challenging and dynamic one, requiring expertise in data protection matters, IT-related documents, and litigation proceedings. As a high-level IP lawyer, you will be responsible for advising clients on complex cases and ensuring their compliance with GDPR and other relevant privacy regulations.
You will work closely with the litigation and corporate teams on cross-functional projects, ensuring legal alignment and strategic coordination. Your responsibilities will also include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating IT-related documents, such as contracts and service agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on data protection matters and ensure their compliance with GDPR and other relevant privacy regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate IT-related documents, such as contracts and service agreements.
- Act in your clients' best interests during pre-litigation phases and represent them in litigation proceedings.
- Work closely with the litigation and corporate teams on cross-functional projects, ensuring legal alignment and strategic coordination.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will need to possess strong technical knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. You should also have a proven track record of working on complex cases and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- At least 3 years of experience as an IT/IP lawyer within a law firm in Luxembourg.
- Fluency in both French and English is essential to ensure clear and effective communication with clients and colleagues.
- Strong technical knowledge of data protection laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
