The Treasury team is a global team is based out of Amsterdam, Luxembourg and London, and responsible for Mileway’s global liquidity, funding, investments, hedging and intercompany transactions. The team interacts with a wide range of internal and external business partners including financial institutions and its investor, on topics ranging from financial planning & analysis, asset acquisitions and disposals, bank and capital market transactions. In this role you will report to the reporting manager based in London.

**Working at Mileway**

Within the Mileway finance department, the Treasury Reporting team is responsible for the reporting linked to external as well as Blackstone and ad hoc Mileway reporting requirements.

The bank reporting predominantly focuses on quarterly financial covenant calculations and management reports, as well as internal administration of the loans across various platforms. The creation and administration of these reports requires a great deal of coordination with many stakeholders, including property managers, asset managers, and other corporate teams such as Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis and the Portfolio Management team. Outside of the reporting obligations, the team is responsible for the coordination of various items related to the loans with the facility agents and Blackstone Capital Markets team.

**What you’ll do**
- Prepare quarterly financial covenant calculations and management reports for submission to facility agents
- Build efficient monitoring processes to track bank compliance with financial covenants, spot trends and provide scenario analysis.
- Coordination with property managers, asset managers, other corporate teams, external lawyers and facility and security agents
- Maintain an overview of monthly and quarterly cash movements and provide monthly instructions to facility agents, ensuring cash accounts are sufficiently topped up for interest payments, and more importantly cash is correctly released after quarterly Interest Payment Dates
- Quarterly interest calculations and reconciliations with the agents’ interest notices, assistance to the accounts with the interest accruals
- Maintaining an overview of each portfolio and allocated loan amounts, tracking repayments through disposals and drawdowns
- Liaise with lawyers, facility agents, Blackstone and various other stakeholders to complete new external financing transactions. Put in place new bank account infrastructure for the new deals, coordinate inflow and outflow of financing funds.
- Assist the team in looking for efficiency strategies and developing new processes through our technology team and through more efficient use of our ERP system (‘Yardi’) and other reporting tools such as Tableau
- Run monthly reconciliation of loan balances across multiple platforms
- Improve and optimize reporting and analytical processes
- Prepare various periodic or ad hoc reports required by Blackstone
- Ensure fund distributions are in line with the tax mechanics, work closely with tax team and support management in tracking the amounts
- Assist the FP&A team in reporting requirements for shareholder updates
- Maintain communication lines between departments ensuring any cross over topics are fully communicated and all are aware

**What you’ll bring**:

- University degree in Accounting/Finance (CFA, ACCA, CIMA is an asset)
- Min 3-5 years of work experience in a similar field, experience with real estate finance and bank reporting is critical
- Ability to comprehend legal financing agreements
- Dynamic, positive personality with a can do and hands on attitude and strong desire to learn
- Solution oriented approach/ problem-solving aptitude
- Detail orientation with also the ability to see the big picture
- Ability to handle and prioritize a wide variety of situations and challenges
- Ability to work independently but also be an excellent team player
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for business related matters
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to deal efficiently with people at different level of hierarchy
