**FATCA Senior Officer**

**Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) - CDD (fixed term contract 12 month - start date: 01/01/2024)**

The FATCA Senior Officer provides efficient and proactive support in all administrative and corporate secretarial affairs related to his/her allocated client companies and the Department in general, being responsible for the planning and coordinating of the annual FATCA & CRS Reporting to the tax authorities.
**Some of the things you’ll be doing**
- Tracking and checking documents
- Review and monitor the accuracy of FATCA CRS and other legal documents
- Ensure organized, clear and consistent saving, filing and scanning of all documents
- Help to maintain the company database and assist in the digital archiving process
- Analysis and filing of FATCA CRS reports
- Perform due diligence exercise in order to asses status of reportability
- Maintain and update the billing tracker of Tax regulatory services
- Cross-check information across different files and records
- Following all internal procedures and guidelines to complete different tasks Notify the Tax Regulatory team if any discrepancies are discovered
The FATCA/CRS Officer maintains on a daily basis the files (completeness, accuracy, updating etc.) of his/her client companies in accordance with the “Filing” and “Archiving” processes and procedures; supports the Tax team with various types of correspondence, reports and other documents; performs different tasks on the IRS portal on behalf of the clients according to instructions received from each Business Units; monitors all incoming mails to the Tax team and inform the team if any documents are concerning the Tax Regulatory team (ACD reminders, Penalties, etc).
**What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?**
- Post high school degree or diploma (Bac +3), Business Administration or Tax related degree is a strong advantage, or equivalent level gained through relevant professional experience and continuous professional learning
- at least 3 years of relevant experience in an international Legal, Tax or Trust environment
- Fluent in English; French and/or German would be considered an asset
- Knowledge of FATCA, CRS regulations would be considered an asset
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, dynamic and proactive Team player but able to work autonomously
