**Role purpose**
**Role and responsibilities**
- Assist the Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting & Control in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Perform general ledger accounting and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain and update accounting records and files.
- Provide support during audits and tax filings.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Collaborate with the Senior Accountant on various financial projects and tasks
**Key requirements**
- You obtained a Bachelor in Accounting or a Master in Business Management with a financial and/or accounting focus
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of the tax environment (both European and Luxembourgish)
- An experience in audit or accountancy firm is an asset
- You have an excellent command of English and French, both written and spoken
- You are self-motivated, a quick learner, ready to go for the extra mile.
