Description

Within one of our Business Units, you will be responsible for the accounting on a portfolio of international clients with guidance from our senior accountants.

Job Specification:
The main responsibilities of the position will include the following (but not limited to):

- Oversight of part of the work done by the team in South Africa (suppliers, expenses, )
- Postings specific accounting Journals
- Management of Interco
- VAT & Tax
- Support to the external Audit
- Reporting to Group and to CSSF
- Relation with collection agency and lawyer in regards with the “dunning process”
- Be in charge of accounting and closing entries;
- Reconcile bank accounts;
- Prepare periodic management reporting;
- Prepare annual accounts;
- Prepare budgets and cashflow forecast and analysis thereof;
- Prepare BCL reports;
- Perform the necessary transaction monitoring as foreseen by the policies and procedures; and
- And maintain close relationships with clients/intermediaries and local authorities.

Skills Required
- Degree in Accounting or Finance;
- A first relevant professional experience (or internship) in Accounting in Luxembourg, preferably in a fiduciary or audit firm;
- Exceptional knowledge of bookkeeping to trial balance level;
- A commitment to providing a high-quality service;
- Good level of French and English;
- Competent with standard business software (i.e. MS Office suite, including Outlook, Excel and Word).
