In this context, we are looking for a
- **Business Developer - Technology Transfer & Partnership Officer**, She/He will be responsible: 1/ for developing and promoting the knowledge transfer activities of the institution, 2/ for the advancement, commercialization, and entrepreneurship of LIH’s Research Departments and Technological Platforms, increase the scope of their activities and provide support to the technology transfer of specific advanced projects.**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Assess the commercial potential of Platforms activities and other research assets and propose subsequent development plans,
- Liaise actively with private companies and investors to secure external funding to initiate co-development projects, commercialize LIH’s assets, and develop spin-off companies,
- Develop business cases for emerging spin-off companies, including market research activities, business plan development, and financial modeling,
- Maintain productive relationships with other Research institutes and external organizations that play a role in technology transfer and enterprise creation,
- Coordinate the establishment of non-disclosure agreements, material transfer agreements, inter-institutional agreements, etc.
- Report the activities related to the Business Development Office activities (i.e. use of a CRM),
- Create and deliver internal seminars to improve awareness of the Business development activities Office.

**KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Master Degree in Life/Biomedical Sciences supplemented by Business Development/Technology Transfer training,
- A working experience of minimum 2 years in a technology/knowledge transfer office or industrial setting as Business Developer/Technology Transfer,
- Strong experience in the use of competitive intelligence analysis techniques/tools and high level analytical skills to extract, organize and analyze data and information gathered from a wide variety of sources and communicating the related report(s) to researchers,
- Experience in collaborating with commercial entities in the biotech/pharma sector,
- In-depth knowledge of the open innovation ecosystem in the biotech/pharma sector,
- Effective project management skills,
- Strong negotiation skills, flexibility, and persuasion capacity allowing to answer internal and external expectations in a result-oriented approach,
- Language skills: excellent written and spoken knowledge of English and French. German skills would be an asset.
