**Job Title**
Associate Director, Controls and Oversight, Global Due Diligence
- Ensure both Quality Check and Quality Assurance duties are done on an accurate and timely manner;
- Ensure Global Due Diligence activities are performed in accordance with internal policies and procedure as well with regulation in force;
- Escalate to Director, Global Due Diligence and/or Compliance (2LOD) any AML risks when appropriate and on a timely manner;
- Act as 1LOD AML expert and represent GDD internally and externally when required;
- Act as Director, Global Due Diligence deputy;
- Identify key issues, risks, trends, observations and provide reporting of results to key stakeholders (Director, Compliance, AML Internal Committee);
- Interact with process partners to drive and facilitate the AML/KYC review process and participate in process standardization and improvement discussions with process partners;
- Identify training needs for the overall Global Due Diligence team in collaboration with Processing hubs Peers;
- Ensure relevant escalation process is well applied when required.
**Job Summary**
Be part of a global team of AML/KYC experts located in 3 jurisdictions:
- Global Due Diligence (GDD) Luxembourg acting as Controls and Oversight center of expertise;
- Global Due Diligence (GDD) Ireland and Canada acting as Processing expertise centers.
As part of the first line of defense (1LOD), we are providing AML/KYC expertise to RBC IS Bank globally and are leveraging on a global AML/KYC system allowing us to store client documentation and perform Client risk assessment supporting Client on-boarding process and upsell.
Your role will be will be acting as Associate Director, Global Due Diligence, Controls and Oversight team (1LOD) and reporting to Director, Global Due Diligence, RBC IS Bank. You will be in charge of both Quality Check and Quality Assurance Teams in Luxembourg.
