**The opportunity**

We are looking for **Production Coordinator** to join our Mercury Plant (Dudelange).

You will have the opportunity to join a multinational team in a new factory using innovative technology and state of the art equipment.

**Primary Purpose of Position**:

- The production coordinator is the main contact for the different plant workstreams such as New Product Industrialization team, production control team, process team, etc
- His role is to coordinate production events to support the shift leader to scorecard attainment
- Having a view on the resources planning, he has to anticipate and propose solutions (training, resource reassignment...) to ensure business continuity and ticket achievement
- With sense of urgency, he is able to respond to the need of the production team to keep operation
- He is the support of the production manager to meet department objective related to Safety, quality, delivery and cost
- He is responsible to initiate all measures and countermeasures to ensure availability of people to deliver the ticket
- He has to address all production and quality problems

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Provide coaching of the shift leader
- Support 100% achievement of all programmed production events
- Responsible of Safety Near miss closure
- Develop and improve efficiency of resources
- Analyze and drive elimination of all losses in the productivity tools

**To join our team you will need**:
**Education**:
Master's degree in mechanical or manufacturing technology (or equivalent)

**Languages**:
Fluency in English is mandatory. French or German language is considered as an asset

**Experience**:

- 5 years' experience within manufacturing environment
- Experience in driving production priority on day-to-day operations to team

**Skills**:

- Management of production
- Ability to coach/support production shift leader to achieve plant objectives
- Strong communication, analytical & planning skills
- Strong root cause analysis skills
- Demonstrated leadership & team building skills
- Experience in Tire Manufacturing process is considered as an asset
- Prior experience in Plant Optimization approach and lean manufacturing environment (or similar)
