In this role you will be responsible to execute, report and present structural, thermal and flow simulations of hot runner, mold, and components.

You will support the organization with your expertise mitigating risks, validating, and verifying standard and custom solutions and as well customer specific inquiries to perform structural-, thermal, or fluidic simulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and process thermal and structural FEA / CFD simulations of our products, standard or special components as well as customer mold or mold components
- Design, validate and test customizations and designs
- Prepare written reports to summarize results, findings, and conclusions and presenting to in
- and external customers
- Develop, improve, and document simulation process and methodology
- Define technical solutions that minimize the overall project risk and maximize the customer’s return on investment
- Interpret customer drawings / 3D models, project information, and specifications
- Support in and external customers by providing technical presentations or participate in technical discussions
- Build connection across teams to mitigate risks, finding solutions, and supporting service cases
- Lead internal and external technical training on demand

**Qualifications**
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering focus mechanical/structural and thermodynamics
- Ideally 3 years or more of work experience using ANSYS in structural and thermal analyses is mandatory
- Knowledge of CAD System is required, Siemens NX UG is an asset
- Additional literate in with CAD and CAE software e.g. Solid Edge, Moldflow, Moldex is an asset
- Mechanical design experience combined with knowledge in plastic injection molding system is an asset
- Knowledge in injection molding, mold making, Flow simulation is an asset
- Proven ability to analyze and to solve complex technical problems
- Good organizational, communication and presentation skills
- Good experience with MS Office especially in Excel and PowerPoint
- Self-initiated and team-oriented working
- Fluent in English
- Any other European language will be considered an asset
- Willingness to travel occasionally
