**How will you contribute?**:

- As part of this project, you will be trained in ‘omics, mass spectrometry, molecular biology, bioinformatics, and science communication (writing, presenting and outreach). The outcome of the thesis is valorised through different streams, such as publications and patents.
- You hold a master’s degree in biotechnology, microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, genomics, or related fields. In addition to your diploma, you have very good skills in at least two of the following fields: microbiology, molecular biology, analytical biochemistry, bioinformatics, and statistics. Ideally, you have strong skills and interest in molecular biology and bioinformatics, and basic training in biochemistry or microbiology (e.g., a science degree) and an interest to gain skills in metabolomics and fungal biology.
