TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a new colleague to join our team. The IT BI team is seeking a talented and motivated individual to help us strengthen our capabilities in BW/4HANA, as we continue our path towards a holistic business warehousing solution which can serve the entire company, be it finance, maintenance & engineering, revenue management, or aviation safety.

- Design, develop, and maintain BW/4HANA data modeling solutions to meet business requirements.
- Optimize and performance-tune data models, reports, and queries to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data architects, and other developers, to gather requirements and deliver high-quality data warehousing solutions.
- Implement and enforce data security and compliance measures in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Conduct regular system audits and maintenance, including patching and version upgrades, to ensure system integrity and security.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in BW/4HANA development, including expertise in HANA modeling, SAP BW data extraction, and transformation processes.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language, especially in the context of SAP BW/4HANA.
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud or other BI tools is highly desirable.
- Excellent understanding of database concepts, SQL, and data warehousing principles.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Commitment to staying current with new technologies and methodologies in the SAP ecosystem.
- Experience with Data warehousing within aviation is a plus
