A company is only as good as its people. And, as we always want to be at the top of our game, you’ll need to be there too if you want to work with us. We are currently looking for the right person to join our Logistics department.
**Your responsibilities would include**:
- Creating cost studies for inbound and outbound transports
- Consolidating and verifying of forwarder invoices
- Tracking and reporting special transports
- Initiating and tracking insurance claims and acting as an interface between insurance and forwarding companies
- Creating, supporting and operating customs programs, e.g. inward processing
- Acting as interface for local customs authorities and brokers
- Establishing forwarder’s benchmark to improve lead times and costs
- Implementing and following-up on transport security programs (C-TPAT, AEO, known forwarding agencies)
- Performing training sessions for transport security program
- Evaluating HTS-Codes and the Country of Origin
**You would need to meet the following requirements**:
- Educational background in Logistics, Supply Chain, Economics or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar position, ideally in automotive or transportation
- Experience with customs regulations, transport security and forwarding agencies
- Knowledge of HTS-Codes, Country of Origin and further Export/Import rules
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience in SAP is an asset
- Ability to work autonomously in an international environment, team spirit and a pro-active attitude are imperative
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Fluency in English and German is mandatory, French is considered an asset
