**Redspher **was launched in 1981 in Metz (France) and has grown rapidly to become an international player. Redspher is the European platform for on-demand transport offers and requests. Redspher Group is redefining the market by integrating the physical and digital dimensions of transport. Today the Group employs 500 people in Europe and is constantly recruiting to support its growth.

We are looking for a **Data Architect (f/m/d)** in the Data team. The position reports to the Data Director and will be located in one of our offices in Luxembourg.

**Responsibilities**:
The Data Architect plays an instrumental role within our Data team. He/She is reviewing and

analyzing our organization data infrastructure. Helping in defining the end user of the database and creating a blueprint for developing, testing and maintaining the database.

**Your Mission**
- Your duties include preparing architect reports, monitoring the system, and supervising

system migrations.
- Enterprises deploy data architecture to primarily convert business needs into data and

system requirements, align business processes with IT systems, and manage the complex

flow of data and information within the organization.
- To examine new data system requirements and implement migration models.

- You will be setting rules, policies, and models that determine what kind of data gets

collected, and how it gets used, processed and stored within a database system.
- Create data architecture principles on which the entire framework is based considers data as

an asset defined on pre-set parameters and is accessible, shareable, manageable, and can be

secured.

- Work closely with teams to collect and translate information requirements into data to

develop data-centric solutions
- Continuously improve the quality, consistency, accessibility, and security of our data activity

across company needs

Technical Skills

We expect that you bring for this important position:

- 5+ years in a Data Engineering or Data Warehousing role.
- 2+ years coding experience (Java or Python).
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies in any of the cloud based data storage

platforms such as Snowflake/Redshift/Hive/GCP/ Qubole or similar technologies.
- 4+ years industry experience in data structure, data schema development or data

engineering with strong expertise in an object-oriented language (preferably

Python/Java/Scala/C#) and SQL skills Experience in columnar relational data stores,
- Knows Advance SQL technologies
- Fair knowledge big data tools such as Hadoop/Hive/Spark/etc, as well as knowledge of more

traditional warehouses - Plus to have
- Experience with modern data pipelines, data streaming, and real time analytics using tools

such as Apache Kafka/AWS kinesis/Spark Streaming/Elastic Search, or similar tools(Plus to

have)
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

**Must to have**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or information systems; master

degree a plus.
- Must have 1-2 years previous experience as a data architect or in a data management role or

in a data engineering role.
- Experience with Cloud database
- data structure and design and implementation
- Certified Data Architect is a plus.
