Your Role

We are looking for a Dealing Platform TA Specialist, at Officer level, to join our Dealing_Platform team. You will be responsible for collecting and processing complex data, exercising due diligence as well as reviewing and implementing strict data quality processes. At this level you will be required to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of relevant work processes alongside a broad understanding of related and interfacing activities to provide effective management of Transfer Agency. This role is an SME or has Lead and People Management responsibilities with a also focus on strategy, change management, resource planning and development (incl. people / team management), client relationship management and risk reduction.

Your Team

You’ll be working within the Dealing_Platform department and directly reporting to the Line Manager, AVP level. You will have a reporting line guiding the team during their day-to-day activity, establishing effective collaborative relations with clients, peers and superiors. You will be accurately delivering high quality service both internally and externally by incorporating experience and industry knowledge in the daily workflow.

Your Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for the efficient day to day running of the group acting as a source of technical expertise
- Exercise operational oversight within the department and make operational decisions, also driving procedural changes to improve performance of related business areas (as and when needed with the guidance of your AVP)
- Handle and resolve complex or unusual operational and managerial problems
- Ensure that procedures, policies and processes are consistent to so that a high quality service is delivered to the customer
- Ensure benchmark KPI’s are achieved and exceeded where possible and tracked intra month
- Contribute to the development of the organization in terms of financial planning, business strategy, service offerings and policies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Promote risk awareness, assessment and control within the department
- Understand the risk environment within the department and manage appropriately
- Identify and secure resources required by the department
- Set department objectives with the guidance of your AVP to ensure the team members are clear about their goals and objectives setting requirements each year
- Perform appraisals, regular 1to1s and ensure appropriate training plans are in place and followed
- Ensure Career Development Plans are in place for all employees within the Team and manage Talent Performance Process within the deadlines
- Improve current processes to meet the changing requirements of our clients and improve efficiency
- Have a proactive and focused attitude to work and an ability to constantly meet deadlines

Your Profile
- Degree in Finance or Economics
- At least 5 years of Transfer Agency or Financial Services experience
- People Management incl. experience in operational management (at least 2-3 years in a management position)
- Comprehensive procedural, technical and product knowledge of the Transfer Agency
- A strong understanding of Fund Accounting, Custody and Regulatory background to Funds Industry
- Advanced Computer Skills (Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Internet)
- Ability to work independently and as part of the Team
- Excellent administrative and business support skills, with the ability to multi-task and to work calmly under pressure
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- A clear, logical analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving; organization skills for oneself and others; willingness to assume additional tasks in order to share workload within team/d
