Procurement Department

Vantage is looking for a Procurement Analyst Intern for OFCI (Owner Furnish Contractor Install) equipment in Europe, to join our expanding team. The Procurement team leads the procurement of Professional Services, Construction and OFCI equipment contracts across Vantage’s portfolio globally. This includes strategic management of vendors and inventory, vendor management and long term negotiated pricing, architecting / management of process / ERP. OFCI consists of Data center infrastructure equipment as chillers, medium and low voltage panels, transformers, CRAH units, Generators, UPSs.

Position Overview

Vantage is looking for a self-starting XX Intern to help drive the Procurement Department process and daily task efforts across several ongoing projects and vendors. In this internship program you will have the opportunity to work closely with a team that supports development and learning, has positive attitude towards challenges, values new ideas.

Essential Job Functions
- Help implementing tools in Smartsheet to track vendor information
- Implement a contract Data Base to facilitate
- Look for custom agent/forwarder and onboard it
- Support the Procurement Analyst in collecting information from vendors and Construction Team
- Issue Purchase Orders after approval from the Procurement Analyst and/or the Senior Procurement Manager

Duties
- Collaborate with Procurement members and Construction team
- Work with Procurement Analyst and Senior Procurement Manager
- Coordinate timely delivery of OFCI Equipment in close working with the Procurement Analyst
- Create reports
- Examine opportunities for improvement

Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar field.
- Analytic skills and comfortable with Excel and other office tools.
- Knowledge of Procurement & supply chain..
- Fluent English speaker
- Attention to detail
- Travel required is expected to be less than 10%
- Smartsheet knowledge is a plus
