**Introduction**:
The Mandate Management teams within the Operations Directorate are responsible for managing the whole life cycle of the mandates signed between the Bank and donors, such as the EC or one or more Member States (so-called “Mandators”).
More specifically the Business Planning & Mandate Management Department (also referred to as ‘BPMM Department’) role is to:

- Design and negotiate Mandates that support the EIB’s strategy and business delivery.
- Manage Mandates in coherence with their policy objectives.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with current and potential Mandators.

Establish best practices & synergies in day-to-day Mandate management; and to provide a coherent system for control, monitoring and reporting of Mandates, including striving for cost coverage.
With a view to streamlining the daily administrative tasks related to day-to-day data processing of man-date management, the BPMM Department is seeking Consultancy Services for the provision of tech-nical expertise described below.
The execution of the below listed tasks by the Data Processing Consultants (hereinafter ‘DPCs’) ap-pointed by the Service Provider will be performed under designated EIB Assignment responsible offic-ers who are experienced EIB staff member(s).
**Skills, knowledge, experience required**:

- Proficiency in English at minimum B2 level;
- For Category A (0 years of experience) - Master's degree (EQF 7) with relevant educational background (banking, finance, accounting, economics, IT). No minimum ex-perience required;
- For Category B (2 years of experience) - Bachelor's degree (EQF 6) with at least 2 full years of relevant post qualification professional experience (banking, finance, accounting, economics, IT).

**Desirable**:

- In case of professional experience, exposure to multicultural environment for a year or more;
- Any training certificate on Excel or Access;
- Any additional professional certification (i.e. finance, accounting);
- Any additional year of professional experience above the minimum in the relevant areas (banking, fi-nance, accounting, economics, IT);
- Any certified proficiency level in English higher than B2;
- Any additional language among French, Polish, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Lithuanian or Greek if mastered at level B2 or higher.

**Duties/role**:

- Collecting information from different sources such as:

- Spreadsheets or other documents;
- External sources;
- Structuring, arranging, categorising and storing the collected information according to procedures instructed by their EIB Assignment Responsible;
- Interfacing[1] (when needed, under the supervision of the Assignment Responsible) with external counterparts and/or intermediary institutions to ensure the receipt of mandatory information needed for reporting purposes or otherwise required;
- Following up on the calendar reminders related to the reception of contractual covenants;
- Formatting, aggregating, updating and storing data in an electronic format (e.g. Excel file, MS access database);
- Crosschecking the entered data according to the four-eye principle and according to procedures in-structed by the EIB Assignment Responsible;
- Carrying out regular data quality checks (e.g. on accuracy, completeness, con-sistency, etc.) related to EIB management fee structure analysis and calculation;
