Founded in 1856, Banque Internationale à Luxembourg is the oldest multi-business bank in the Grand Duchy. **Responsibilities**:
In today’s complex business environment - BIL’s adaptability, agility, and ability to manage constant change through innovation will be keys to success. BIL has set an ambitious program of business development, combined with the development of a new OPS & IT strategy including the replacement of its Core Banking System. As member of the Reconciliations team, you will be part of this transformation and your mission will be to support your manager across multiple projects on the cash and securities activities.
You'll be responsible for:
- Building and optimizing scalable internal control reports and financial reporting;
- Process improvement: proactively searching of identifying, analyzing and improving upon reconciliation business processes for optimization and to meet new quotas of automation or standards of quality;
- Managing projects, performing requirements analysis and user acceptance testing on IT, business and regulatory projects;
- Acting as an investigator to resolve complex financial discrepancies;
- Identifying and developing internal service opportunities following the Bank new Target Operating Model.
**Must-have requirements**:
**Your qualifications**:
- Master degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Economics or Finance management;
- 1+ years of work experience in a fast-paced environment;
- Functional knowledge in banking industry, with a focus on accounting, project and data management;
- Knowledge of MS Access, VBA and SQL is an asset;
- Knowledge of T24 is an asset;
- Fluency in English and French.
